This caused quite a stir recently at the Milan Furniture Fair. It's the Nemo chair; designed by Fabio Novembre for Driade. I think it's one the most original and exciting pieces of furniture design that I have seen in a long while. Leave a comment to let me know what you think of it! http://www.driade.com/

Christian Louboutin Cat Burglar Barbie
I must admit, if I were a cat burglar, my choice of footwear would probably not be 3 inch Christian Louboutin heels. Barbie, however, is made out of sterner stuff! The Louboutin "Cat Burglar" doll comes packaged with four pairs of CLs, boxes and ickle shoe bags - cute! Go and have a peek to see if they have any left! http://www.net-a-porter.com/

Tour de Force
Check out these incredible hats and headpieces from Tour de Force! I especially adore the fantastically named Death's Veil Headpiece (last photo) - this would definitely upstage the dead! http://www.letourdeforce.com/
Pretty Uglies
"Pretty Uglies" is the blog of fantastic Polish illustrator Magdalena Wolan. Her works reminds me a bit of the caricatures of modernist artist George Grosz (whose work I totally love). There is a wonderful mix of the bizarre and the morbid, but they are also very pretty too - hence the name "Pretty Uglies". Check out the fantastic Kate Moss illustration! http://pretty-uglies.blogspot.com/

The French House
Here's a beautiful site for all you Francophiles and bloggeurs out there. The French are so elegant in a way that the English just aren't (yes I know I'm English!) Check out the beautiful objects that you can buy from the site. I think the white porcelain cake stand is sooo beautiful - suitable for individual French patisseries or cute cup cakes! The watches are very special on this site "made by a small watch maker near Besancon in France". Obviously because they are not mass reproduced they aren't the cheapest going, but about the same price as the Gucci and Armani watches that you can get in the high-street jewellers. Last picture, for a bit of fun, a fabby kitsch Tabac clock to go in your kitchen (well that's about the only place you can legally smoke these days, so if you're a smoker, why not, non?) http://www.thefrenchhouse.net/

Life's a Stitch
I normally HATE embroidery (probably because I can't do it). Some of you may disagree, but I think it is the girliest, most stupid waste of time (apart from knitting, which is now only cool because Eith Piaff used to click away with a pair of knitting needles). Anyways, I saw this the other day and it made me smile. There's quite a few different kits on here, but before you hit the link, I might firstly point out that the language in quite a few of these is full-on (just in case you are checking these out whilst on your lunchbreak!)

The day the world turned Day Glo
Being a fash bloggy type person certainly does have its problems sometimes. Par exemple; having earlier espied Nicholas Kirkwood's summer shoe collection for this year, it did not go unnoticed by me that there were a lot more muted colours in this range. However, there were still a few of his usual eye-poppingly bright vertiginous heels which also featured. I will warn you beforehand though; if you are a weak ankled, acrophobic, bunion sufferer, you might only want to put them on a shelf and look at them (or wear them in the bedroom!) I like the muted colours as well, but one can't write about everything one sees, and I thought the bright heels are more in keeping with the Pargy spirit! See for yourself at:
